What is Okami?
Developed in 2006 by Clover studios, the action-adventure video game was initially released for PlayStation 2 console, but later versions came following its success. A Wii version was added after the PS2 version. It introduced motion controls for the game’s Celestial Brush system.
Another one came out in 2012 for the PS3. Okami only had one true sequel which was Okamiden. The sequel made its way to Nintendo DS on 2011 to become the only sequel to the classic.
The game is also well-known for the colorful visuals and the traditional Japanese painting designs. The story also appealed to players who play the story of the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu as she restores order to the world.
Capcom has certainly delivered their promise to bring gamers HD remasters of their hit classics. Gamers around the world are still waiting what other remasters Capcom is planning to release. It will be such a pleasure to play these games on a better console to reminisce old times.
